Haven't seen this posted, so here's a link to a cool 2-part Iggy interview during the Party tour, probably in Toronto at the Policeman's Picnic music festival.
'The New Music' was an indie-oriented weekly show on Much Music (Canada's MTV). The interviewers here are J.D. Roberts & Jeanne Beker. Beker currently hosts a fashion show in Canada and 'J.D. Roberts' is now 'John Roberts' - anchorman for CBS News & now CNN.
Iggy is wearing the hat that got him nicknamed 'Bing' by his friends. He seems in good spirits here and discusses his pre-Stooges days in Toronto. His comments re: his fellow Stooges, however, are less than kind.
A few years later the same show did a follow-up interview w/ Iggy during the Zombie Birdhouse tour. This time Beker does the interview alone and Iggy is downright hostile. Beker cuts the interview short & walks out after Iggy gives her the whole 'I have more talent in my little finger than you do in your whole body' routine. This interview used to be available on the New Music website also, but I can't seem to find it now. Any links to it would be appreciated. It's highly entertaining & Iggy is wearing a (rare) skinny-tie.

Aaaaaaah, the freakin site has some region issue going and won't let me watch any clips there. All I get is this message "Sorry, the video you are trying to watch is not available in your region." Thanks a lot, MuchMusic! WTF?!!
If anyone can capture and save the interview (both parts) and then share it through Megaupload or something, I for one would be really thankful....

ok. so now we know we can't watch it in Europe! No need to post this again and again. I guess trailerborn would have uploaded it... if it would be possible.

Sorry to hear that the video link I posted isn't working outside Canada. I tried ripping it directly from the site but nothing is working. I often get these problems w/ european & US sites, so I guess this shouldn't be a surprise.
It's too bad, because the one I posted has a cool live version of Iggy doing 'Lucille' in soundcheck with the Party line-up. The same link used to show them doing a killer version of the old Animals tune 'I'm Crying' that is probably one of Iggy's best live-vocal performances (IMO) since the Stooges. Unfortunately this has been trimmed recently.
If it's any help, the New Music interviews are listed on Dirt's tradelist, so they must be out there somewhere - just not on YouTube etc. that I can find yet. Sorry to be a tease. That was'nt my intention.
