| she/they must've asked The Stooges..i guess as far as i know such a name or words do not belong to The Stooges..practically impossible to ask royalties for this.. so even if not asked/allowed..this word/name can be used whoever want's it. ah..dzjee....such a superbad idea! Hope Stooges didn't agree cuz of marketing reasons; to be 'introduced' to the new generation...something like if people google Pink's album...you'll get also Stooges out...now that would really be a pity sell out

group of children to the real thing. Good point. Kids go online to google crap, and discover the best fucking album in the universe by mistake. NOT a bad thing.

| Discovering Stooges only by reading the same albumname? ...yeah in music business they think it works that way.
nah.....Pink has an tight, clean computer sound...know some people who love it a lot...to them The Stooges sound is much too fuzzy and outdated. Cuz they don't SEE the Stooges from the early days they don't realize it's the real stuff.
For the kids it will be just another cool album name. They'll hear it with Pink first...so Pink will be the originator for them.

| Do you think so Zin ? Whenever I saw names of other bands mentioned by MY musical heros I'd find out about them as fast as I could. | |

| yeah...if the band is mentioned...that's something else!!! do you think Pink will credit the Stooges in the album...as her heroes? I wish Pink would put a picture of Iggy in his wild days on her album + mentioning the Stooges + explaining what a Fun House really is

| i wouldnt worry about it, its a bit of usurpation of a great title, and if its a nod to stooges, cool, and yes it may get other ppl into them - though how many pink fans are gonna like stooges!! lol, but i dunno if its not, doesnt matter, just means stooges will still freak ppl out with funhouse even like 30 years later, jesus almost 40, whenever all those trendoids or like 14 year old girls look up funhouse on amazon or play.com or something and theyll see that! | |

Maybe she really LOVES The Stooges!!!!!!!!!! ano its probly a long shot! lol but u never know, and she could just be "pullin a madonna" and tryin to keep 'with it' or ahead of it or watever and the stooges are a good 30 years away from widespread recognition - tho i bet ppl said that 30 years ago haha i dunno she just seems like she'd like them or that album or something - or at least think she likes them

Agreed. The Stooges have already proved that their music stands the test of time. Young and old alike. I'd love to see some emo-looking kid walking the streets with "1969" blaring outta his ipod so loud you can hear it.

| Loose it's funny but on a recent trip to Nice in the south of France I spotted the coolest looking 15 something year old in the FNAC record store wearing a simple t shirt with STOOGES on it, no pic just STOOGES logo , and he had Johnny Thunders hair. | |

| cool, i'd love to have hair like that, impossible to manage tho, altho i think it was pretty much self sufficient, thunders took the whole ''leave it 3 months and your hair will start to clean itself" myth and went even further to "leave it 3 years and itll create its own ecosystem" lol | |
