| does anyone have a list of all the versions of this song, with lengths etc? the longest one i have is from open up and bleed and its around 12:45, but it sounds like it cuts in at the beginning. i'm trying to find a complete one with guitar higher in the mix so i can work it out for myself on guitar. | |

| As far as I know - there are two studio versions: one is 4:55 and the other 3:11 - that second is a bit faster. When it comes to live versions, they are on 'Metallic K.O.' (second disc), Double Danger (disc 1), Heavy Liquid (disc 5&6), Night Of Destruction (4th disc) and also on St. Louis gig on 8/18/1973. | |

| I've only got the 3:10 one from search and destroy/detroit studio outtakes, as far as studio versions. and that one they kinda stop playing. I'd imagine there's a full 10+ minute studio version out there somewhere. | |

| i have 15 versions, though a couple are same versions
american theater st louis 8.06 (pretty good quality) back to the noise 3.09 (decent quality, but brilliant, my favourite version) california bleeding 11.50 (interview at start, but really good quality) complete raw mixes 4.57 (good quality think its the same one as one heavy liquid boxset and the studio sessions you have) gimme danger (night of destruction cd 3) 4.00 (good quality, not great for guitar tho) heavy liquid as mentioned by JW82, two versions studio 4.59/4.54, disc 3 is clearer, but disc 4 is probly better quality, then there are two live versions on disc 5 and 6 at 11.59 and 12.39 respectively live at michigan palace (/metallic 2XKO) 3.54 (decent quality) open up and bleed 12.50 (powerful perfromance but bad quality, though scott thurstons vocals are more upfront) original punks 4.55 (think its studio rehearsals thing like heavy liquid box) studio sessions 4.48 (same as original punks) | |

| I also realized today, that the one on a album I have called "rubber legs," I believe, is played 1/2 step up from the rest of them, or the tape is faster. it's about 5 minutes and fades before the fast part. | |
