| It's definitely worth $59.99 (44 euros), but look at the VAT/Duties + shipping delivered to Finland:
1 €44.93 EUR $59.99 TOTAL €44.93 EUR $59.99 VAT/DUTIES €16.18 EUR $21.60 SHIPPING €39.81 EUR $53.16 GRAND TOTAL €100.91 EUR $134.75
Of course I'm going to get this. One way or another.

I agree totally. It alone nearly doubles the price. There has to be a cheaper way.

| The box itself is reasonably priced, but I wonder if there's something wrong with the shipping.
Also, how limited limited an edition is this? It's not numbered like the Funhouse box, is it?

| Ouch! now I'm wondering if 'I'm Hungry' and 'Hey Peter' on Disk 3 are really worth the extra layout over the 2CD edition.
I think what'll clinch it for me is if there is any unseen early footage on the DVD. Robert? Anyone?

| £30 for postage?!
That's extortionatate and it has the nerve to say its doing us a favour shaving £10 off the price. For 4 discs (one just an interview thing and the other taken up be mixes still in print), a vinyl single and a booklet £50 is well over enough. But £30 for the shipping? RIP OFF.

| When I tried to order it some sort of error occurred and it now isn't clear to me whether my order was successful or not. I've contacted Customer Services, but has anyone who ordered it got a confirmation email? I didn't get one.
Thanks,
Andrew | |

| Those shipping costs can not be right. I think its against the law to over charge shipping fees, well it is here in the U.K.
£30 fucking quid. I making myself more angry.

| I'd like to konw about the 'limited' nature of this, can i put it off for a while? my birthdays coming up and i could get it for that, but i cant get it right now, also;
i thought the £50 for the box was too good, can they really charge £30+ for p&p? how much does p&p cost?
how long before its on amazon, will they put it up if it doesnt sell?
are the only differences in the legacy and deluxe editions disc 3 / dvd / booklet / prints / vinyl?
thanks, HJW | |

| Guys,
the shipping charges really are not that bad. I realise £30 may seem a lot, but you must remember that shipping is based upon both size and weight of the item. This box contains several CD discs, a vinyl disc, photos and a book. Add to this the weight of the actual box this set is contained within, then add the weight of the packaging box (which needs to be sturdy so as to prevent damage to the contents) and it all adds up to a fair amount.
Finally, take into consideration that international shipping tariffs are always higher than domestic charges, and you will see that £30 really is a fair price.
Trust me - I work in a Mailroom.

| It seems like these boxes will be more readily available once the release date is actually here. Wouldn't places like Amazon, Tower.com and whatever the equivalents of these are for the various countries in which you folks reside likely have these for sale.
However limited they may be they are not going to sell out in a week. Remember when everyone was pre-ordering the 1971 box from Easy Action because it was limited? Well, those are still around. I saw one for sale yesterday at Amoeba Records in Hollywood.
I think we'll all have the opportunity to buy these and at a fair price once they are actually released.

| <I tried to figure what would cost me to get it (I live in Italy). It' s more than 50 euros without shipping and they ask me to give my credit card number before I know how much the shipping is... this is crazy, it will surely be around 100 euros total, maybe more, definately a lot in these hard times. I' m thinking about buying the legacy edition and downloading the outtakes, the record company is just ripping us off. | |

| Hope your right Larry, cause any money i had for this i just spent on tickets to the New York Dolls in Dublin - on my birthday no less! so i didnt mind
i'll just wait and see whats happening with this - also want to get the exile reissue, but i might just get the 2CD version of that - dont really want to spend another £100 for a boxset
