What show did iggy pop spray him self with silver paint?

Electric Circus I think - altho it was gold from what I heard. From memory, May 14 or 15 1971.

I believe that the glitter covered look must have lasted longer than just the New York gigs. Iggy's hair was silver for the 1971 gigs and the metallic paint (gold or silver - who can tell 37 years later!) was covered in sparkly bits of glitter too. I remember reading somewhere that Ron recalled this look, and said that Iggy, being a junkie, rarely washed at this point. So the glitter and paint stayed in his hair and up his nose and in his ears for days at a time. I think Ron said that Iggy looked amazing on stage but horrendous in the daytime due to the caked on and badly smeared glitter and paint.
Certainly the pictures of Iggy looking so shiny come from the Electric Circus gigs (one of which was the show that he is alleged to have thrown up at...) but I reckon he must have been glittery for quite a while during that April / May 1971 tour.

I was at that show. The glitter was definitely silver! Iggy did throw up as my memory serves me the liquid coming out of his mouth was
dark purple, welch's grape juice or a nice pinot noir.
