I have waited almost 38 years to hear the Electric Circus shows. I was there. Another week ? Fine
nitebob You are my hero. I was a fan at the Electric Circus ahows. I have some photos from the 1971 show, one of which I believe is in the 1971 box. The others might see the light of day soon. I also attended an Electric Circus show that had Billy and Zeke. no photos. nitebob

Can't help myself Natalie - just fascinated to know about the creation of these songs. I know you heard them the first time around, but to most of us they really ARE the missing link between the the 1st 2 albums and RP. And believe me, I am so enjoying the music (regardless of who wrote what.) Whoever at EA did the detective work (Carlton?) to get hold of the 4 cassettes deserves a LOT of praise. Natalie - can you tell us anything about the proposed EA fan club CD of the 1970 show - i.e. is the recording quality anywhere near as good as the YWMA box set?

| Rob,
That was meant as an observation only. Back then, not enough people listened or analyzed! Perhaps, if the powers at Elektra listened instead of being so focused on selling the company, thee songs would have been recorded.
I explained about the potential cd on the New News from Easy Action thread.
We will all just have to wait until E A determines what quality and what songs are on the tape.

nb Nitebob - this is a bit off-topic, but I just ran across your Mike Brady video interview on Jol Dantzig's FB page. Well done, and great info! Back to topic, the mailman has not delivered the much anticipated parcel here either...

| Hi everyone and especially our american chums . I have been calling usps to ascertain the length of time stuff takes to get through the system and the official line is that from uk to us destination should be 5-7 working days ( and thats first class post !) So technically the cd only orders at the latest should be delivered wednesday morning and the t shirts & Cd orders thursday morning . There is NO reason why U.S Customs should delay any further than that as we are aware that the shipments arrived in the U.S Wednesday last week. I know you are all frustrated as you can see folks in the uk and some european fans enjoying theirs and i do really hope the pony express is bringing your box set at the soonest possible time . | |

| Well, I haven't been home all day so I have no idea whether or not it has arrived. However, from what all of you are saying I doubt seriously that I have receive mine either. Oh well, I guess it's for the best that I found out now instead of getting home and really expecting it to be there. | |

| I'm in Los Angeles and mine arrived today! Unfortunately I'm on my way to work and have no time to check it out until I get home. I'll bring one CD in the car to listen to but all else (photos, booklet, packaging) will have to wait.
Anyway, it made it to the West Coast so y'all oughta be getting yours soon.
At first glance it looks beautiful.

Seems kind of ironic that Detroit evidently is one of the last places that it's going to arrive. Makes me feel totally pampered here in the UK (and that's even without ordering one!)

At first glance it looks beautiful. Finally someone in the U.S. got one!! But WTF the West Coast first, did they ship through Japan? No matter what, the Midwest is always last.
