| Since they've already done "Heavy Liquid" and Easy Action aren't one for cheap knock-offs...this should be good They lost out on Uganos didn't they? And Matt Gimmick's finally started talking...coincidence? | |

| Yes, I concur. Fantastic news - but still so poignant. Its only been days and still can't believe the mighty Ron has left this mortal coil. His work and approach moulded irrevocably the way I arrange and play. Definitively.
All those nights as a 17 year old listening to that furious bass playing on the American Theatre 18.8.73 shows...
Good on ya Easy Action. Looking forward to seeing what eventuates.

| Anyone got any hunches what could be on this upcoming set? Its rather bittersweet,in light of whats gone down the past few days, and i hope any bickering thats alleged to be going on wont prevent any of Rons work be curtailed from the fans. This has been one hell of a lousy way to kick off the new year. Ron Ashton...a king for 60 years! | |

| really? i was thinkin single CD and if lucky 2 -3 CD package, or is that wat you mean by boxset?
i'd put money on single CD and thicker booklet maybe, nice packaging, premium kinda thing as its probly never been heard before, even by few bootleggers, maybe none, just guessing here
would LOVE it to be a boxset, esp since ron has passed, yet more reasons to remember him (and even if it is a 74 stooges, cause lets not forget the man was one hell of a bassist, one of the best ive ever heard)

Well anything that has 3 CDs in it I'd call a box set. Anything from WTFS to HL I'm guessing. It don't think it'll be anything any more or less though. Some other company would have gotten it if it was one disc I'm guessing but Easy Action love their well put together Stooge/Iggy box sets.

| 1971 would be amazing! I can't see how they'd make a box set out of the 1974 gig since most of that era's stuff is on "Heavy Liquid". Could there be live 1969 not known to us? This is gettig REALLY REALLY exciting now. | |

| Definately it would be fun to hear especially a 1971 gig or Unganos. But even the mentioned Atlanta show by Scott sounds interesting too | |
