I just got off the phone with Rhino, or should I say their Indian call center (no shit), and after 10 min.
on hold he told me that my order would ship next Monday the 26th. They got a memo that it had been delayed
a week. They started those freakin forums on their website, you think they might actually put 'em to good
use and post that its been delayed. Sheesh!

Indian fuckin' call centre! Are they expecting 100s of calls a day or something?

Oh and anyone yet to buy this might want to try entering "Raw Power" as a discount coupon. I don't know if it works but I got an email saying it would give 20% discount on their Stooges T-shirt line, so it might work for the CD as well.

Rhino says "Now Shipping". I bet this one and Raw Power arrive on the same day !!!

Wow. The Cale mixes really do sound slow on the samples. I wonder if there's any chance the final mixes were sped up for "energy". Has anyone ever done a tuning comparison?

OK, for those wondering about this (like I was), I just had it confirmed by the guy who sold the tape to Rhino that there is only one take of Asthma Attack.

So the 7" just duplicates the CD track - but for some reason they have made it shorter or they have sped it up???

I'm still waiting for someone to get this so we can find out if the Cale tracks are as slow
as the samples that are online.

Just arrived via UPS this afternoon w/ an additional $6 in taxes owing, bringing the total to about $81 Canadian (which of course now is pretty much exactly the same as $81 U.S.). It sure is a nice looking package and I'm gonna crank it in a couple hours after dinner/groceries/etc.
