They said it will come out in 2006, 07, 08, 09
and now it's 2010. The Runaways movie already came out
what the fuck haha
if the movie comes out
lets hope that Elijah Wood is playing Iggy Pop
not like Ewan McGregor as Curt Wild (from the movie Velvet Goldmine)

I think they're not going to make it finally

it would of been cool too
I guess we're stuck with Velvet Goldmine
which is also a good movie

Why would Iggy Pop not want to play a role in the movie? Did he not like the script?

I Read he did like the script but in another interview saying he hated the script

I remember Iggy saying in a interview,
that there was a scene in the script,
that in Iggy's opinion insulted his parents...
In real life -his mother and father were really suportive and nice,
but the script made his parents look like a bunch of assholes (and monsters).

His mother and his father have both died recently,
and Iggy's feelings were really hurt by that scene.
He said that he told the director to fuck off, cause
" I always loved my mother and my father, and they always loved me,
and they never had any problems with me becoming a musician."

So Iggy didnt want this film to happen, becouse it didnt tell the truth about his parents.
