Yup, i'm telling you all ! This is a real curse I think ! Ron was bassist for Iggy late 71- 74 and also for the stooges songs on skull ring.

I wasn't saying that was creepy, what was creepy is that Ron died not long before this thread reappeared. And it reappeared because somebody was talking about somebody entirely different.

dont worry about it loose, just coincidence and it was bound to happen to one of them at one stage, we knew it couldnt last forever, just extremely unfortunate it had to be this way

I didn't want to see the end of The Stooges even though logically I knew that was bound to happen, for me, but I never ever even contemplated the idea.
I think it's gonna take me the full year to try to come to terms. Right now I'm still wishing this year had never dawned. Ron is too big a loss. My 'second favourite Stooge', I used to say... now they're BOTH gone : of course the Stooges are ALL special and I love' em all, but Ron ... (sigh)
it was bad enough with Dave cuz he's REALLY special for me too, and as a musician too...that site I was vaguely thinking about dedicating to him...but there has to be a MEMORIAL site for Ron too, now.

I'm going to pretty much dedicate all the site to Ron. As you can see I already changed the header pic.

The rest of the threads? Dunno what to do. Not that it went far. LOL I'm open to ideas.

But the main focus from now on will be on Ron.

Another idea is that HL makes a special tribute page HERE and we all add to it. I'd be happy to do that instead.

Whatever everyone wants, I'm in.

I think we can keep a Dave thread in there too. It's appropriate, as he is a fellow fallen Stooge. But the bulk of it would be Ron-oriented.

I'd still like HL's input before I get going on it. Perhaps our leader here would like to do something special. But all in all this sounds good.

Yea I totally ahree with what your saying... I have been looking everywhere for a picture of Zeke Zettner.. there are like 2 pictures of him do you kniw where i would be able to find more... thanks for your help man!

Geez, this is an old thread! That site crapped out ages ago. Not much "rock action"...
