US (left) & UK (right) Raw Power original labels. Mid-70's US reissues have similar label but it's "PC 32 111" instead of "KC 32 111".

In the JW interview elsewhere he suggests the original European copy is the best pressing and the one to own.

hmmm...not sure JW checked every different pressings as we do.
Anyway, 30 s samples of Penetration:

Original US

Original UK

Original Holland

UK version sounds slightly better to my ears. Just slightly.

the UK pressing shown above is the one with the alternative search and destroy mix and I agree it sounds great, not just the bassier S and D mix, but the rest of the album is really well mastered too, at least as good as the new CD mastering. there are other threads on the forum dealing with the so called 'embassy mix' but I think most people now agree that the original embassy pressings were the same as the first UK press and that the only difference when compared to all the US versions and the later UK versions are S and D and that there isn't really an embassy mix at all. the more well known, less bassy S and D has appeared on all the CD versions of the album.

Found this copy of Raw Power yesterday. I thought only the UK version didn't have any writing on the cover, but "made in Holland" is printed both on the label and back cover.

And I already had this strange [probably pirate] edition :
