It's just something I put together last night. I've posted it with and without the logo. Does anyone here know that there was originally a 6 or 8 foot (I don't remember exactly which) promo poster for "Funhouse"? One sold on eBay several years ago. I put several bids on it but it ended up going for $750 which is WAY beyond my budget for something like that. It would have been damn cool to own though. I haven't seen another one since.

| Let's see, I saw the James Williamson/Raw Power era Stooges 10 or 12 times - don't remember exactly - all at The Whisky in Los Angeles.
Saw Iggy solo on the tour with Bowie and again with the band that included Brian James, Ivan Kral and Glen Matlock (Ithink that's right) and once again after that.
I saw The New Order countless times including once when Iggy sang I Wanna Be Your Dog and Search and Destroy with them.
Saw Ron with Mascis and Watt twice.
Saw the reformed Stooges at Coachella, All Tomorrow's Parties in Long Beach, at The Wlitern in L.A. and an abbreviated set when they played on the Jimmy Kimmel show.
I think that's everything.

| Saw Iggy on Brick by Brick tour at Academy in NYC Saw him in this tiny venue in NYC called Continental where the fire department came and shut it down because it was way overcrowded but nobody would leave so they cut the power but the band kept playing and Iggy kept singing without a mike. I think he did lust for life and everyone in the crowd sang it with him. D generation opened for him and they were all standing on top of the bar so they could see. it was the only place left to stand. great show. saw iggy/stooges reunion at Jones Beach, Roseland, Terminal 5 and United Palace. Ran onstage twice. First time I tried to take a pic with my phone but someone smashed into me and it flew out of my hand. Just as I was trying to look for it a bouncer grabbed me by the neck and threw me off the stage. i kid you not. then after the crowd left the stage i saw another bouncer reach down and pick something up and i dove up and yanked on his pant leg and sure enough it was my phone. at second show i was trying to take another pic from onstage and my friend kept calling. but i did get some shots. that's all i can remember right now | |
