| Okay, well I know the actual follow-up ended up being The Weirdness, but I was wondering what everyone thought the tracklisting might have been for an LP that would have floowed on the heels of Raw Power.
What are all the tracks they were working on and performing between Raw Power and the Kill City stuff?
This was inspired by the recent "Stooges 1971" thread.
If they--as The Stooges--with a similar lineup to the Raw Power band had put out an album in 1974, what would it have consisted of?
What would your dream tracklist be for something like that?

| "Open Up and Bleed" and "Johanna" are 2 strong candidates - I love those riffs/motifs JW seemed to specialise in! Per | |

| Not on a Raw Power follow up and there would have been no covers except Heavy Liquid. | |

| the open up and bleed release from bomp was a collection of songs from that era that were entitled to not really make a legit 4th record, but show songs that could of ended up being on the 4th record. it's a compilation of studio rehearsals and live tapes. | |

| "Heavy Liquid" is basically a rip off from Gary 'US' Bonds' song "New Orleans" revved up and with with Iggified lyrics. So it is sort of a cover. Cheers, Richard | |

Cheers, Richard waow, really? cool, ill have to check that out, well they definitly wudnt have released that as a closer or album title actually now that i think about it, its the stooges, the 4th album, tho it may have included and been called open up and bleed, in true stooges fashion they probly wouldve written all new songs

| I'm sure I've suggested a killer follow up to Raw Power before, but I can't remember what I said.
But today, this is what I think would have made for a stunning 1973/74 Stooges album.
Side One. Cock In My Pocket, Head On, Johanna, I Got Nothing,
Side Two, She Creatures Of The Hollywood Hills, Rubber Legs, Open Up And Bleed (very long version).
Cheers,
Richard | |

| What about suggestions for a post-FH/pre-RP album? That would possibly be their best, with tracks like:
I Got A Right Gimme Some Skin Tight Pants You Don't Want My Name Fresh Rag I'm Sick Of You Scene Of The Crime
and more...

| There would be nothing from the Raw Power sessions. I think it would probably be something like this:
Either titled "Heavy Liquid" or "Open Up And Bleed"
Head On I Got Nothin' Ritch Bitch Cock In My Pocket Johanna She Creatures Of Hollywood Hills Heavy Liquid Open Up And Bleed
