Speaking of a one eyed snake cocktail.....last night I went to see Soulsavers feat. Mark Lanegan...of the Gutter Twins...etc....awesome show! His guitarist was as brilliant...as was Mark.. ...they're touring the US

We recorded this by trading files back and forth from the US to the UK...on garage band no doubt.......and using Pando for file exchange.....

Each project I use different names... This one was a short stint......

I just got an offer to play bass with one of my friends......well see....gotta blow the dust off....

My guitarist for this project hadn't played in YEARS......he's been playing keybord/sax ....but did an excellent job and creativity for this type of genre.....

Oh by the way......your slogan "I haven't made it in show business"...there's "countless" of talented/exceptional/qualified souls out there who haven't made it in show business... that would spin your head around...

you ulimately, IMHO, cant really compare the two. hendrix was a bluesman that toyed w/ rock a bit, page was a rock musician that toyed w/ the blues.

like...sonic youth toys w/ noise, but they are by no means a "noise band". even if theyve had a couple side projects that were noise.

Radish, you are nuts. You criticized James playing then you posted a link to your music. At first I thought it was a parody of goth rock. But it seems you all are serious. There is no song to speak of, the singer is not on pitch, the guitar not only sounds bad but it's out of tune.

NOW, back to badder than bad JAMES WILLIAMSON.

James rocked the show is San Jose!!!!! I noticed a lot of details from where i was standing........James was the artistic director.....making sure everyone in the band was hitting their cues ......he is understated that is for sure.....Derek was flashy with the capo and effects pedals ....doing the Ron ashton thing.....but James was spot on....his tone was exact...and his Search and Destroy solo was right in the pocket......dammmit he rocks live...and .i loved the video as well......james is not a flambouant guy.....he likes to let iggy have the spotlight.....and it was no different at the blank club...he is a generous musician....letting others talents shine and standing solidly on stage holding his own with out the flash......do not write him off ...or look at the show with a glass half empty attitude.....this was a legendary event.....and James Williamson is gearing up to explode on the scene with his partner in crime .....to show us one more time ........how magic is made..... Raw Power is one of those standout records that destroys all myths.......and James Williamson is a legendary guitarist and songwriter...yesterday, today, and forever!
