Raw Power - Au-Go-Go Records [Australia] Reissue

I noticed jpstooges had a question mark re: above release date in discog section. Au-Go-Go Records from Melbourne, Australia re-released Raw Power in 1989. I am not sure it sold too many copies but its release coincided with a resurgence of interest in The Stooges in Oz at the time. Many bands, like Bored!, GOD, the Seminal Rats etc were covering Stooges tracks. Check out the 1989 Au-Go-Go release Hard to Beat [ANDA 70] - a double LP of Stooges covers by Australian bands. Some tracks are fantastic, others merely interesting.

The Exploding White take on Down on the Street is definitely one of the highlights. It's great that even She Creatures...gets covered.
