Rock - Roll Hall of fame?

Iggy and The Stooges have been one of the most influential bands in Rock - Roll. I think its way over due......

Well, this year Grandmaster Flash got a nod.

The Hall is pure shite. If Lou Reed can't get in as a solo artist, the Sex Pistols go in on their first try (and honorably refused), and Neil Young is in THREE times (Buffalo Springfield, CSNY, solo), and half the elected artists aren't even Rock 'N' Roll, then what the hell kind of museum is it anyways?!!

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame doesn't DESERVE the Stooges.

I thought for sure they would get in this year (since they were nominated, are touring again, have a new record out, are on magazine covers, etc..)

It's just WEIRD that Iggy's not in there at all (not as a solo artist or a Stooge).

I reckon Bowie will get in as a member of Tin Machine before Iggy gets a look-in at this rate!


PS - Lou Reed is in there twice. I checked. Solo and as a member of the VU.

The whole thing is a pile of crap anyway. I mean Bowie's in there, Patti Smith just got in, the Ramones are in, Ozzy, the Sex Pistols, Blondie, Talking Heads all in...... but no Iggy. It's fucking disgraceful.

Iggy should've got in twenty years ago for all the bands and artists he's influenced!
