| I too hate that We Will Fall. I can't waste my time on that hippy shit. But I'm for SURE gonna try to conjur Dave up in a seance at my earliest convenience. If that don't work I'll try to talk to him on a Ouija. Thanks for the idea you girls! All those James pictures are HAWT. Ooooo those mirrored shades. I bought that "Raw Power" Mick Rock picture book and stared at the photos for days. Then I had a dream James was on top just about to bone me when a trash truck came bangin' down the street and woke me up. | |

| I was JOKING about the seance Rode Hard ... but, yeah if you're successful in getting Dave please do let me know. I really wanna know what lay behind his shyness and stuff - that's a real turn-on for me. And that beautiful hair and the spaced-out look in his eyes .... (sigh) I have a thing for Dave alright ... he's the REAL reason I joined this board As for dreams, I won't go there ... not that I have anything salacious to relate, I hasten to add | |

| I think it connects the mythisism to the album. I think it's the albums LA Blues. It's an important part of it. Without it The Stooges album would be less psychadelic and just more of a rockalbum.

| Yeah Borntuhula, LA Blues! (THE John Coltrane connection) it's true that here you got the mythic influence in it. And they still play it...which is awsome!! |

In case of the 'mystic' or 'mythic' thing I also consider 'LA Blues' to be strongly influenced by Sun Ra. It's the same type of arranged chaos that Sun Ra did e.g. on his 'Space Is The Place' album

Amen It IS the 'LA Blues' of the album. Because I always shuffle through both when they come on.

| LA BLUES and We Will Fall is the reason why Mindroom needs to be included on the next Stooges album! Strange songs that makes the band sound more dangerous and psychadelic! | |

Strange songs that makes the band sound more dangerous and psychadelic! Borntohula yeah like your idea!!! Scott and Mike are the only ones who maybe would support this idea. Maybe also Iggy..Ron I doubt. Somehow I got the impression that Iggy decided that The Weirdness had to be an Ashton brothers album (something like make-up sex ) of coarse he also told in an interview a few years ago that he was running out of musical inspiration something like that....bad thing to say b.t.w. I'm curious in what way the Stooges will develop their music in the future! Ron had an important influence on The Weirdness that's a sure thing, he came with the riffs and basic melodies. With Iggy he was doing the songs. What about Scotty what was his influence...anyone knows? The Stooges musical development has to do with what their orientations are nowadays on music. haven't heard them talking about this except for Ron saying they had made loads of new stuff for the Weirdness (enough for 2 albums )

'The Magic City' is also cool album by Sun Ra. Mystic, weird and freaky - not as 'Space Is The Place' but still

| Did you all hear the We Will Fall song a few times during the BBC4 Motorcity documentary yesterday evening? sounded GOOOOOood; good 'talking-heads' music during John Sinclair's blahblah. about his influence as Music Hippie Guru on the MC5 (also on The Stooges) |

Hahaha! Come on, it's not that bad. Actually, after hearing it was a Dave-thing, it now has grown in my eyes. And it's a gazillion times better than the Doors My Wild Love. But it is a bit exposed on that album. Surrounded by punchy punkers and all. Only companion is Ann and even that has a rougher edge to it. My advice? Wait until midnight. Pour youself a glass of fine chardonney, or a whiskey (neat). Light a cigar. Turn out the lights. Put it on a playlist next to Für Immer by Neu!, A Rainbow in Curved Air by Terry Riley, Up / Caught in the Middle / Down by Kim Fowley and Un Uomo da Rispettare/Un Uomo da Rispettare (Titoli) by Ennio Morricone. If that doesn't set the mood, then atleast We Will Fall won't sound as long. Sometimes it's good to relax. You know, for the blood pressure n all.
