| The late Greg Shaw told me back in 1995 that possibly the Stooges were filmed and recorded at their only English gig in 1972 at the King's Cross Cinema. Fact or fiction, does Main Man have a record of that event on film or is it just another urban legend. | |

| IF the Stooges were filmed that night then nothing has ever surfaced. It seems unlikely. Mick Rock took a HUGE number of still photos of course (some of which ended up on the cover of Raw Power). And there's no evidence in any of the shots, of any film cameras. As to audio recordings - again, nothing has ever surfaced in the 38 years since that show. But, as the forthcoming soundboard recording from Atlanta proves, there's always a chance that a recording may be uncovered... Cheers, Richard | |

| French photographer Patrice Kindl also took photos at the King's Cross concert. Some were used by Revenge Records on a couple of their Stooges releases on vinyl and CD.
Don't know of any evidence on the show being filmed though. One can only hope...

| People associated with Ivan Kral allegedly turned the Stooges down about using his rare 1973 Stoogean footage for both the Hall of Fame montage and the dvd accompanying Raw Power re-release, where it would have been most applicable. There exists one other source of footage, color, soundless, about 6 minutes worth, not quite as good quality as Ivan's of the Raw Power Stooges live. It's going through domain search at the moment, and its usage in either of these upcoming events supposedly will be up to Mr. Pop. | |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qU3s7ZqdbQo&feature=relatedIn the comments for this video on youtube, there's one saying: "Very rare stuff. I'm looking for the 1973 England concert. I saw it on cable in the early 70's once. I think he did something crazy and ran around on stage naked, jumping around like a monkey or something"If it's true it was on TV, it should be somewhere!! But... I guess you can't trust that guy very much. He may mixed it up with an other show or something... And about that Iggy was naked... Naaah. Shirtless but not naked.

| isn't the 6minutes the colour stuff in the raw power doc?it is st.louis am.theatre i've read somewhere. the david lynch doc.that is being made maybe will contain new found footage, they were looking for that 1969 tv show thing but no reports if they found it. the 1970 colour silent stuff, saginaw is 12minutes all together. and the iggy with white shirt silent b/w 1minute is a mistery, who has it, where is it filmed,is there more?first showing was on the dutch vpro ''lust for life ''doc.in late 1986(many people approached the doc.makers without result) | |
