Hi all, my copy of "Popped" arrived yesterday (I live in Italy). I'm really amazed by the great work EA did. It was totally worth the wait.

Popped arrived in New York City today. Amazing package, excellent photos. The Popped fanzines are exact repros of the ones Natalie sent me in the summer of 1973.

It got the classic professional and good looking Easy Action packing as many here are already used too. Most pleasant suprise was the pictures... They looks like originals.. Now I'm going to make myself a cup of tea, relax on the sofa, and enjoy the Popped fanzine with some proper music(guess what) on the stereo.

I have the CD playing on repeat. The New York tracks are out of this world! Great to have Chicago in good quality (best so far, I think)! Great CD! If you have not yet ordered this, hurry before it's sold out!

Has no one remarked upon the similarity of Ms. Natalie's stream of consciousness popping to that of Mike Watt's hooting?

Now that you mention it, hmmmm, very astute observation. I just finished reading the first three vols. of 'Popped'-great stuff, Natalie! And so cool to be reading your assessment of the "new" tunes that would end up on Funhouse, and other events/gigs that would enter in Stoogelore. The cd sounds awesome as well. Chicago definitely is an upgrade and the two N.Y. numbers are killer.

package arrived today, and well, as the old adage goes, all good things for those who wait.
i was amazed through and through - by the content and design, everything is just superb.
i guess that in this day and age of short attention span and instant gratification,
the delay was a bit hard to handle (present company included).
so sorry for the lack of patience and thank you for making such a great artifact,
especially at a time when the band is being milked to death with pointless releases and products.

This is a great package..!
The N.Y. tracks alone is outstanding, especially Dirt.
Great pictures and reading!
Huge thanks to Nat & EA and everybody else for making this available.

got it saterday.the 2 new york songs are brilliant!I wish the whole show was there.Good the soldierfield show is speedcorrected and cleaned up.the fanclub mags are great,photos too!

My copy arrived in Brooklyn on Friday and I'm really impressed. The packaging is top notch and the CD kicks ass. Can't wait to hear the full NY show from Rhino soon.

Never mind Sony (with their ridiculously stupid selection of tracks) and never mind (tone-deaf) Rhino, both of whom just pulled out tapes and released them as-is after the meaningless RRHF induction (The Stooges should have been inducted a decade ago) for a quick profit. Cheers go to Easy Action for taking the time to assemble proper CDs and packaging and taking the time to make them sound as good as possible (as always). Thank you.

I'm not super fan of the plastic pack, but what's inside is really cool : Tshirt, pictures, CD packaging are really nice. And thanx Nathalie !! I had some pictures of Almoust Famous while reading Laughing

Mine arrived the other day & I'm liking it a lot. It's especially nice to hear Fun House era live stuff. Thanks to Natalie & Easy Action for a great package.

So I'm hearing there's a missing page in one of the newsletters, but I've actually got two copies of one, & only five newsletters. There's meant to be six right? Did anyone else have this happen?

There are 5 full Popped and 1 mini Popped which is 1 page.

Please say what you have missing and I'll see that you get it either as a pdf or a hard copy.

My copy of Popped! arrived in the post today.
Wow....just wow
this is a amazing package.. a labor of love...and one of the coolest stooges releases there is...the NYC version of "Dirt" is pretty darn amazing!..intense version and the recording quality is not at all bad! very listenable!..the Chicago show is much clearer sounding than the version i had prior...just great getting all the known 1970 stuff in one handy disc!..the Popped's themselves are great! fascinating reading back all these years later....great repro photos...and the CD booklets full of them (great drawer packaging on the disc BTW)..this is something that any Stooges fan should have on the stooges shelf! Natalie said it best in one of the issues of Popped that she is "hung on the band for life"..she kept her word and Stooges fans are grateful!
