| I always thought the cat was called Tambura after the Eastern European and / or Indian stringed instrument. I can't imagine Iggy naming a cat after the Bon Jovi guitar player!! Cheers, Richard | |

1. LUST FOR LIVE 2. THE IDIOT 3. NEW VALUES 4. BRICK BY BRICK 5. KILL CITY
Jameswilliamson82 gave the closest shot...
First 2 from the Bowie era So Bowie's influence on Iggy was really important!? How do you think about this?

| im surprised to see brick by brick there, um, i would suggest, yes bowie had a lot to do with it, keep in mind iggys at his best when he's collarborating, he's not much a dylan type, and even dylan had the band, igy had ron, ig had james, ig had bowie, i think he takes a lot from those people, not in the same stealing way bowie took from iggy but uses them to bounce off of, its typical in music, mick and keith, john and yoko, john and paul..., vv and hotel, jack and meg, johansen and thunders, johansen and sylvain (nowadays), i think ppl need to bounce off each other ideas and moods etc | |

| its alrite i guess, not bad, but bowie cant do that, as in literally, he cant sing it, you need iggy, and its a rumbling rambling type song, the synth, slow bolan guitar and slowed neutral bassline's dont go with it, and you need iggy's weird jokey sense of humour on that album (success) to get away with that, and the lyrics, bowie looks like he doesnt even get the lyrics or nething, thanks for posting, i like bowie, but not at his best, i hate him covering stuff, well some songs are ok, but i didnt like lets spend the night together or im waiting on my man | |

Bowie and Iggy working together was an extréme good and special thing The more I learn of Bowie's musical projects and collaborations, the more I suspect that everything he touches turns to gold. Unless, of course, it is The Rolling Stones's "Let's Spend The Night Together," in which case, intentionally or not, it gets the cover it deserves (I semi-irrationally loathe the Stones, sorry!! ). Hmm...top Iggy albums. It's difficult for me to rank them, but I am gonna go ahead and say that Lust For Life is right at the very top of the list. Lately I've been trying to get into Soldier after picking up the vinyl at a used book store, but it just isn't doing it for me. I'm afraid that "Dog Food" is one of the more irritating songs I've ever heard. But I'll listen a few more times and see if the album grows on me...

| Metallic Ko, Raw Power, The Idiot, Lust for life and New Values. In no given order. Kill city should fit somewhere in there too. | |

| As of right now.
1. 'Lust For Life' 2. 'The Idiot' 3. 'New Values' 4. 'American Caesar' 5. 'Skull Ring' and 'Kill City' (tie)
'Instinct,' 'TV Eye Live,' and 'Soldier' would definitely be up in the top 10.
The worst solo album imo, is 'Beat 'Em Up.' I can't stand it.
