| I would be happy enough with film of just one song with audio from the "Raw Power" era, even if it was incomplete. | |

| I have to wonder about this date -
17 Oct Whisky A-Go-Go, Hollywood, CA 17 Oct Whisky A-Go-Go, Hollywood, CA
I saw them in September (both time frames - 1st - 4th & 15th - 17th) and had friends who saw them in June. I find it difficult to believe that if they played again (even for just one night) that I or someone I know wouldn't have known about it. Not much to go on, I know, but still it seems unlikely.

| Hi Larry, nice to hear your stories. I'm a Old time Stooges fan too ...... but stuck in UK when they came here and couldn't see them. Please tell some of your concert experiences. I'm totally into early concert nonsense ..... | |

| The Halloween gig wasn't a public gig, which is why we didn't include that.
We need to add some gigs, incl. Whisky 17-21 Oct 1973 (I think). Will assemble a revised list in the near future.

| In 'I Need More' on pages 84/85 Pop is remembering the past and the change 'in the air' after the Stooges returned from California in Spring 1970.
He talks about how Rock Action's playing started to change to a more minimal and slower sound. Rock, moving into a self described "jonesy groove" - away from the fast 16th tom beats on 1969 to a "straight backbeat". As Rock disappeared into the skag progressively more and more of his drum kit started to disappear.
Pop mentions where the band played a show at this point in Lima Ohio where he confronted Rock about this change in pace and the lack of the tom playing. Has anyone ever found anything about this show?

| The Stooges didn't play that gig. Scott and Ron were there but didn't perform, thus it isn't The Stooges. | |

The Stooges played Guelph, Canada between May 15 and May 21 of 1971. The show was shutdown by the Guelph University president because it was too loud and was being played near his residence. I also believe a roadie got too rowdy (tequila) and had fell from the upper scaffolding. hah, I live near there

| As they note in one of the links the club was a couple of geodesic domes on a road out in the sticks where the northern Detroit suburbs petered out and became countryside.
I'd love to find some real info about the Stooges show(s) there, because I lived around there at the time, but only found out about it after the fact...

| In my hometown, Walled Lake, there was a teen club called Fandango or something like that. There was a VFW up the road too. | |
