| this is great news! im still reeling after ron, but im sure this'll hit me in a couple weeks!
is this a tour? seems very quick for it to happen, which i suppose is stooges style
also has anyone noticed the timeline similarities
stooges mk 1, with ron went for a couple years then fell apart stooges mk 2 with ron and james one year then fell apart stooges mk 3 james on guitar couple years then fell apart
well maybe its not an exact thing of what happened first time round, but its still pretty similar
anyway, great news, hope james is up for a tour (or two)
and i hope they play post raw power stuff too, and maybe some kill city, great to hear mike watts coming back too!
and the news about the other tracks Ron laid down
and i think most of all i'm glad stooges are continuing, i dunno how they do it but they survive anything, im glad they're still going

| I have really warmed to the Williamson thing after hearing recent interviews with him. Hopefully they'll play "Open Up And Bleed" | |

| Great! Hope they do "Johanna", "Open Up and Bleed" and some of those long-forgotten 1971 tunes! I thought James had put the gtr on the shelf, but he must have been practicing in recent years. Per | |

| Yes, this is very exciting news. I too am very happy for Scott. Somehow continuing with James seems the only right way for me. | |

| Not at all surprised at this news, bittersweet as it is.... but Stooges without Ron does not have the same meaning for me.
However - maybe we'll finally be able to hear Scott's DRUMS on those tunes, eh?

| A "requiem"... that's very well put. What I meant in my previous message was, that if they're going to continue, James would be the only option for me. And if that's ok with Scott, who am I to argue! | |

| Iggy tells that they have worked with a filmmaker to make a kind of "requiem" for Ron and for the group. He also said that the tracks that Ron had left could be used for a documentary sound track rather than for an album.
(I hope that my translation is not to bad...)
