Good. When our demo comes out you'll be the first to get the download. Speaking of which, we've pretty much transformed ourselves into a Stooge cover band for the time being. People dig the songs, and our new singer is a wild fucker much in the spirit of Iggy. I'm having a fucking ball!

I think what we're going to do is perfect one song at a time, and I'll post them as they get perfected. First song we'll do will be Fun House. That one already smokes.

I love "fresh rag". It sound's better on "St Louis Adolescent Nightmare" but gimmicks cover is great. I hope some better live recordings from '71 will be found and released.

| Peaches is good stuff. Especially with this cover. Prob the best cover I'v ever heard of the song... As in the only cover of the song I haven't felt lacking everything the original does(this incl dictators version). This song doesn't try to coop with the org's dynamics but instead it devolpes the song into something completely else. I mean listen to the primal drumming(Rock Action class. Doing so much out of so little) and the ease the bassy synth has it. It's laid back and still feels like if it's sex exploding into space, just as I wanna be your dog! I'm gonna get hold of this song as soon as I can... And if someone of you allready has it, you hopefully be good and tell where to download it | |

it's different. It's not bad but I prefer her doing her own stuff. Fuck the Pain Away is a classic. She's worth seeing too. I saw her supporting the Stooges in Paris and it was one of the best supports I've ever seen at an Iggy show.

but the covers? nah. not my cup of tea. just never heard a good Stooges cover from any other band ever.. the finnish band HIM are used to doing a short tag of t.v. eye to the end of two of their songs in concert. right here in my arms and it's all tears (drown in this love). they have also done mask and they used "no shit" as intro music on their 2001 tour dates. you might not like their music, but they're big, big fans of iggy / stooges. ville uses shure microphones strictly due to iggy. t.v. eye (@ 4:28 mark) -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMMJnrIjfB8mask -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrNLF0TqCpU

but the covers? nah. not my cup of tea. just never heard a good Stooges cover from any other band ever.. I know what u mean I got that "We will fall" tribute cd and theres maybe 2 or 3 songs i like. My fav cover is Nada Surf doing "I'm sick of you" it sticks really faithfully to the original but gets to the fast bit sooner. infact listening to the cover made me get into the original more. now its like one of my favourite stooges songs!
